It is used as an excuse most of the time. Whether it’s a sales professional who can’t meet his target or an engineer who can’t find a job, the excuse is often the same – the competition in the industry is too much.

Google and Facebook are not the only options for marketing and promoting a product or service. Marketers have the option of using a number of other platforms. Moving forward, we discuss a few options marketers don’t generally try when thinking of promoting something.

Quora

Quora is quite easily one of the most popular platforms in the world right now. The amount of engagement and traffic it generates make it a great platform.

As a brand, a business can promote itself organically by building its follower base and answering popular questions in its niche. For this, the company would have to select a representative who would answer all questions on behalf of the brand. The second option is to post promoted Q & A on the platform. This is a paid option and can be used when a brand wants people on Quora to go to a landing page on their website or spread awareness about a product or service they are promoting.

 Amazon

Amazon has advertising platforms for merchants on its platforms and those who are not part of its sellers’ network.

Advertising on Amazon can be done in many ways. For sellers part of its network, Amazon offers options to display product ads on search pages and brand ads on product pages. Advertisers have to pay Amazon on a CPC basis.
